Carter - 10 months

This last month has been a lot of fun with Carter. He is getting really good at walking around holding on to furniture or pushing something (like a push-toy or laundry basket). He is almost taking steps on his own. Each day we can see him get a little more daring as he reaches out for something a little farther away.

He is also quite the chatter box. He is making all sorts of noises as he crawls around and plays with his toys. Sometimes high-pitched noises and other times he mimicks noises we are making. It seems like he will be saying "da-da" sometime soon.

Carter is really progressing to eating more "people" food. We experiment with something new almost every single day. He still loves any sort of bread product, fruits and most veggies. He is picking up all sorts of things with his fingers - lunch meat, strawberries, green beans, peas, potatos, string cheese, and cereal bars.
