Carter - 4 months

Carter turned 4 months old a few weeks ago. We just had his 4-month check up and he weighs a grand 16.1 pounds and is 25 1/2 inches long!!

Carter is doing all sorts of new things -

He rolled over from back to belly on December 21st
He slept through the night around Christmas
He laughed on January 8th
He got his two front lower teeth (at the same time!) on January 24th
He is getting very good at grabbing things with his hands, holding on to toys, and brings pretty much everything to his mouth for inspection
He chats, coos and laughs throughout the day
He arches his back when he is in his car seat. I think he has figured out he has preferences =)
He likes to be sung to, have conversations with you, and have books read to him.
He is getting interested in watching what we are eating and being at the table with us during meals.

He is such an agreeable, happy baby! We are very lucky. Here are a few recent pictures - -

We love to sneak into his room in the morning and watch him wake up. We usually find him sleeping on his side, sucking his thumb and holding his ear.
