There are eight people in Matt's family who celebrated a "Zero" birthday this year....20, 30, 40, 50, 70 and 90 years old, so we all decided to throw ourselves a big birthday party this summer. The non-zeros were in charge of planning the surprises/games and it was a lot of fun!
They put together "minute to win it" games...similar to the TV show. We had to strap a yo-yo to our waists and try to knock over beer cans. They also had to pick up cotton balls with their nose (covered in Vaseline) and thread noodles on a spaghetti noodle in their mouth. Never met a family like them...they are a lot of fun!
We hung out at Ken and Paula's pool in Raymond (Matt's aunt and uncle). We had GREAT weather, yummy food and lots of laughs. Hopefully we can do it again with everyone in 10 years!!
