Carter - One Month

It's so hard to believe that we have had Carter with us for a month already! It's been 4 weeks of joy, tears, laughs and many new discoveries about ourselves and our son. We couldn't be happier to have a child in our lives and it has been so fun to watch him learn and develop by the day.

Some of his developments over the last month have been...

• Holding his head on his own
• Kicking and pushing off things with his feet
• Following faces and movement with his eyes
• Starting to make cooing noises, rather than just fussing or crying
• Last time he was weighed, he weighed in at 9 pounds 8 ounces
• Sleeping 3 hours after the evening feeding (this one is very exciting for mom and dad!)

We have been overwhelmed by all the support, prayers, warm meals and beautiful gifts. Thank you to each of you! I will try to keep you posted with pictures and updates!
