Trip to Colorado 2011

We made our annual trip to Grand Junction, Colorado last week. This time my parents, Tom and Deb, joined us. We arrived just in time to celebrate Mother's Day together. Then, on Monday, Matt, my dad and Leon (Connie's husband) headed out on a camping trip for a few days. They had a nice time visiting different parts of western Colorado and eastern Utah. They maneuvered through several humorous circumstances and saw some varying weather (a foot of snow while in Telluride!)

The women spent those days shopping, eating, and doing lots of chatting. We also visited Lori's in-laws cabin in the mountains and enjoyed a hike, and a little snow.

Later in the week, the boys returned and together we celebrated the news that Makenna was going to graduate from high school the next week. Congrats Makenna! She is looking forward to starting hair school this fall.

It was great, as always, to visit the beautiful Grand Junction and see Connie, Leon, Lori, Cliff, Makenna, Cortney and Seth.
